New year, new name

We greet the new year with a new name, but with the same important task:
To be part of an efficient logistics chain for the region’s business life.

Port operations are part of an international transport system that in many cases begins and/or ends outside Sweden’s borders. In an internal work on the design of the brand, Piteå Hamn AB has come up with a name change for the business.
– We have decided that the port operations will get an updated English brand, which is Port of Piteå. The new name puts the focus on the port’s operations in an international perspective and will be used consistently in all external communication related to the operations, says Ulrika Nilsson, CEO.

The company Piteå Hamn AB continues with the same name as before. The company’s task is to manage and develop Port of Piteå.
